The Challenge
Helping a startup clothing and fashion line define their style, spread their uplifting message, and create products that can spread positivity across groups.
Always Say a Prayer, or ASAP, approached VIA Studio with an idea to create a brand and product line that “Reminds people as an individual; however, they define it to follow the values of kindness, respect, empathy, and compassion.”
VIA Studio was challenged with developing a brand with a higher mission that remained fashion-forward, provided the client with ownable designs, and reflected superior quality.
Style with Purpose.
The Concept
Following our proven brand strategy process, we worked hand-in-hand with founders LeRoy and Valora Gurganious to develop a brand around their idea for “Always Say a Prayer (ASAP)” - meant to be non-denominational but inspirational across backgrounds and beliefs.
Through a series of meetings, discussions, and workshops with the client, VIA could distill its brand into a concept, “Better Together.”
“Amid all of the uncertainty in the world around us, it’s essential that we step back and find time to reconnect with our higher calling. We can move through our life paths with deeper levels of joy when we come together as a collective.
Always Say a Prayer is a reminder of the importance of spiritual wellness and community — and that more binds us than divides us.”
ASAP Logos & Assets
With an agreed-upon brand concept, the VIA design team could develop logos and assets. VIA Studio developed three primary logos and marks for the brand.
The circle logo was developed to be the primary brand mark. It reflects unity, community, and guidance. The Words “Always Say a Prayer” encircle the mark, reflecting a never-ending system of support.
The shield logo was developed to be the secondary brand mark. It reflects protection and action. The Words “Always Say a Prayer” are encased within the shield mark, reflecting how faith and prayer can protect and guide you through times of uncertainty.
The wordmark was developed as a tertiary brand mark. It reflects focus and spirituality. The letters "ASAP" flow from one to another, leaving unfinished spaces between as a visual reminder that there is often more happening than our eyes perceive. The written name runs through the middle of the letter forms to guide our focus on remaining centered on the mantra that the name evokes.
Product Line
ASAP is thrilled with the brand we've built collaboratively and is excited for a 2024 launch. VIA Studio is developing an eCommerce website, product production, and marketing strategy for the brand.
