THE CHALLENGE

We were approached in 2023 to help market and promote a unique community experience throughout the Louisville region.

Louisville Silent Disco (“LSD”), a unique, family-run business, offers music lovers a one-of-a-kind experience. LSD sets up and runs silent discos at local events hosted throughout the city or at customer parties, weddings, and private events through equipment and DJ rentals.

They turned to VIA Studio to help them grow their business, which included increasing awareness of the business, attendance at their local events, and equipment rentals.

Promoting their events and driving rental requests required a three-fold approach:

  1. Raise awareness within the community
  2. Communicate the benefits and value of LSD
  3. Drive conversions

THE SOLUTION

We maximized impressions within the Louisville market at as low a cost as possible to grow awareness for Louisville Silent Disco. To this end, we utilized display campaigns on Google Ads and Facebook Ads. We also leveraged Spotify Ads to promote the business and silent discos, as users were actively listening to specific genres of music like electronic, pop, and hip hop that aligned with their silent disco offerings.

However, raising awareness was not the end of the story; we also needed to drive conversions via their website rental form. We utilized paid search and performance max campaigns through Google Ads to assist with driving form submissions. We set up various ad groups to target specific private events that Louisville Silent Disco regularly rents for, including weddings, birthday parties, and private events like office parties, school dances, and church events.

THE RESULTS

750k campaign impressions, $7.50 per thousand impressions visual

From an awareness perspective, we hit the mark with a limited campaign run. The campaign recorded nearly 750K impressions across tactics at a $7.50 cost-per-thousand-impressions (CPM).

Additionally, we helped increase website rental form submissions significantly. Subsequent rental campaigns have been able to build on that success. Their business success has resulted in hiring new staff and purchasing new equipment to meet demands.
